These are the first fully produced Vertical Alignment songs. "God is Love" features vocals by Chad Gaines and "Trail of Tears" features vocals by his wife Kristi Gaines. Both "The Gray Man" and "Rain" feature vocals by Peter J. "The Gray Man" is a telling of the legend of the same name from Pawley's Island, SC. "Trail of Tears" foreshadowed the later epic "The Trail of Tears Suite."
